MBABANE – Local golfers should brace themselves for a tough competition at the Ubombo Golf Club.
The annual competition, the Ubombo Open, will be held on Saturday.

The games will start from as early as 6:30am.
Golf expert Kenneth Nkambule said group members would compete against all the other groups depending on the division under which they were categorised.
“The golfers will compete in two categories and these are the A and B divisions,” he said.

He said the lower handicap for a golfer means their mistakes are low as well and there are closer on reaching the pros level.
Same applies for the higher handicap; this means the golfer is an amateur.

“Those competing under B division are rated from 10 and above and those playing under the A division are rated from nine and below,” said Kunene.
Golfers to participate in the tournament include Mfanafuthi ‘Taribo’ Bhembe, Rashid Mohammed, Sibusiso Shongwe and Welcome Mhlanga, to mention a few.
