KOREAN AMBASSADOR’S CUP NEXT FOR TAEKWONDO STARS
MBABANE – There will be no rest for taekwondo artists as they are set to compete in the annual Korean Ambassadors Cup in Pretoria, South Africa.
The competition comes right after they ruled the SADC region during the Confederation of Southern Africa Taekwondo (COSATA) Championships held in Gaborone, Botswana on Saturday. The country won 12 medals, including three gold medals.
Swaziland Taekwondo Association (STAss) President Zakhele Dlamini said the Korean Ambassador Cup is an open invitation and artists cater for the finances.
“The performance in Botswana was great and our artists did well. As an association, we only assist the artists by coming together as a team and sharing the costs,” he said.
