SIHLANGU STUNNED BY MO SALAH FRENZY

MBABANE – The national team, Sihlangu players were left stunned by the crowd that showed up to welcome their football hero, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.


Salah joined his team-mates at training yesterday morning ahead of the Sihlangu clash tomorrow at 7pm at the Al Salaam Stadium, Cairo, in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers, with the return match scheduled for Tuesday at Mavuso Sports Centre.


Salah was given two days off by the Pharaohs’ Mexican coach Javier Aguirre with West Bromwich defender Ahmed Hegazy.
“Thousands of fans gathered on the streets singing and dancing to Mohamed Salah’s greatness and the fans are highly crazy over him. Eswatini is the buzz-word here and they want to know about the little kingdom,” said a source in Egypt.


There is heavy security at the hotel of the Egypt national team and international media, especially from the Middle East is all over.

Salah once complained ahead and after the FIFA World Cup in Russia that his security was not enough, as Egypt fans gathered outside his residence while singing and dancing outside his room.


According to a statement released by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), the Liverpool FC winger, Salah and West Bromwich defender Ahmed Hegazy joined Egypt’s training camp yesterday amid final preparations for the first match tomorrow.
