MBABANE – It will cost Orlando Pirates supporters E450 to travel to watch the team take on Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby, billed for October 27 at FNB Stadium.

The ABSA Premiership League game will kick-off at 3pm. The local fans will leave on Friday and return home on Sunday. The local supporters’ branch Chairman Zama Tsabedze said the E450 fee excluded accommodation and the ticket to watch the match. Tickets for the games are available at Computicket outlets at Shoprite Stores. Tsabedze urged all interested fans to indicate as early as possible as they will know the transport that will accommodate all fans wishing to travel.

Meanwhile, Tsabedze said the local supporters must be ready for the launch of the local branch.
The local branch is now active and its constitution was adopted and the Chairman is Zama Tsabedze, with the Vice Chairman being Nkosinamandla Mavuso and Sisana Sibiya is the Secretary. The local branch is recognised in South Africa by the Orlando Pirates FC family.

The Chairman, Tsabedze said plans to officially launch the branch were under way and he urged all ‘Buccaneers’ fans who want to be part of the branch to contact the organiser Malangeni for more details. Already there are 70 registered members.

“Membership costs a once off seasonal E100 affiliation fee, plus E20 monthly subscription. Collected funds will be used for our outreach to the needy at the end of each football season or calendar year. The funds will also subsidise organised trips to some of our selected games played in South Africa, among other things,” he said.
