LOBAMBA – His Majesty King Mswati III once again showed his versatility by flawlessly enduring an over 20-minute session.

The rhythm aerobic exercises, meant to help runners to stretch after yesterday’s Imbube Marathon at Somhlolo National Stadium, proved most challenging to a lot of people, but not the King. The King, who was flanked by princes during the workout, had to go through the workout under very hot weather conditions. After 12:49 minutes, the aerobics session was punctuated with the popular rhythm dance styled Kukosha in vernacular.

The session proved special, as it also provided the thousands of runners a rare opportunity to share a ‘podium’ with the King, as the workout was done on the field of play. Meanwhile, yesterday marked the third instalment of the celebrated Imbube Marathon. The event reached climax through the crowning of visiting South Africa’s Siphamandla Nyembe, as the marathon winner. He dethroned two-time winner Sifiso Sibandze from Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF).
