MBABANE – The national team Sihlangu have been given a boost ahead of their do or die clash against Egypt in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers.

International player Justice Figareido, who is part of the squad, showed some brilliance in the ABSA Premiership League goalless draw against AmaZulu last night.

Figareido was included in the 23-man squad announced by the coach Anthony Mdluli.
A fast start to the second half ensued as Figareido’s cut inside the box forced a stunning save from Siyabonga Mbatha on 53 minutes as he was close from scoring.

Figaredo was becoming too much to bear as he carved open another chance only to draw. Figaredo is expected to join the squad with Mbombela United’s Felix Badenhorst on Monday.

The Pharaohs hosts Sihlangu for the first game on October 12 in Cairo then come to the country for the second leg match billed for four days later.
Meanwhile, Egypt boss Javier Aguirre has disclosed his local-based squad for the Pharaohs’ meetings against Swaziland in the third and fourth round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

A list of 12 foreign-based players was announced last month for the third and fourth match-ups against Swaziland, before adding another 15 players on Monday from the Egyptian Premier League.

The squad has seen the inclusion of Arab Contractors hit man Ahmed Ali, while Smouha goalkeeper Mohamed Abou-Gabal replaced Mohamed Award in the goalkeeper position.
