E1 500 FOR MBABANE MIDAS UNDER-20 CHAMIONS
MBABANE – Msunduza Sports Ground will come alive when it plays host to the Mbabane Midas Under-20 semi-finals and finals on Saturday.
The E10 000-sponsored Under-20 tournament will have the champions awarded a prize of E1 500.
The four teams remaining are Sivutsa, Umbelebele, Interstars and Sidwashini. Mbabane Midas presented the finals kits to the teams yesterday at Sigwaca House.
To kick off the day will be a semi-final clash between Sivutsa and Interstars at 8:30am and it will be followed by the second finals between Umbelebele and Sidwashini United.
The finals will start at 1pm after a social match between Mbabane Midas and Hhohho XI at noon.

The day will start with a walk from Mbabane Midas store, next to the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) offices, go around Mbabane CBD then to Msunduza Sports Ground. Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) Development Officer Sibonangaye Dlamini said all the 16 teams that participated in the tournament are expected to attend the walk and also support during the games.
“The tournament has finally come down to four teams and Saturday will be the big day for the four teams as end of the day one team will take home the lucrative prize of E1 500. The finalists and referees will also be dressed by our sponsor,” he said.
Mbabane Midas representative Gcebile Vilakati said they were happy to see juniors playing sport instead of roaming around the streets.
The teams were presented by the four captains during the kit presentation. They are Zwelani Masilela (Umbelebele), Sebenele Ginindza (Interstars), Nkosingiphile (Sidwashini United) and Mduduzi Dlamini (Sivutsa). Other guests included Mbabane Juniors League Chairman Melika Dlamini, HRFA Secretary Ntokozo Tsela and Oscar Mlotshwa.
