LOBAMBA – MTN Premier League leading goal scorer Lungelo Tsabedze has added one more to his tally.
The Royal Leopard striker’s solitary goal was the difference between the police side and Vovovo.

Leopard beat the Motshane-based side 1-0 to stay at the summit of the log yesterday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
With the winning goal scored by Lungelo, the striker stays on top of the league’s top goal scorers with four goals in total.
The twin player inspired his side to a 4 – 0 victory when they played against Malanti Chiefs in their previous MTN league fixture after he scored hat-trick.
Leopard and Vovovo clashed under floodlights and the game started on a low note.

Neither team created clear-cut scoring opportunities in the first 20 minutes as the ball was played in the middle of the park.
Leopard goalkeeper Phephisa Msibi almost had his real test just before the hour mark but Vovovo’s Kingsley Boateng was judged offside by the linesman.
Leopard had a perfect combination of Sifiso ‘Sushi’ Nkhambule and Machawe Dlamini to solidify the police side’s defence.

Towards the end of the first stanza, Vovovo seemed to be attacking more and skipper Mancoba Mavimbela had the perfect chance to score as he had a one on one encounter with Leopard’s keeper. The midfielder could, however not convert the chance, he executed poorly and Leopard keeper easily collected. Vovovo’s Mxolisi Tsabedze had to proceed with the game with a bandage on his head after a collision with a Leopard player.

After resumption, Leopard returned a revived side and put more pressure on Vovovo.
‘Ingwe Mabalabala’ as they are fondly known, initiated attacks from the flanks with the right back Muzi ‘Mzoro’ Dlamini bringing in a dangerous cross.
Though Vovovo managed to clear a few, on the 61st minute, the right back delivered a superb cross and Lungelo was in the right place of the box to tap in and make it 1-0.
