MBABANE – Swazi exports Felix Badenhorst and Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza have to wait longer before making their debut at new club Mbombela United.

The duo, who made a switch from Mbabane Swallows last month, missed the side’s second National First Division League game, which their outfit won 1-0 over Ubuntu Cape Town at Kabokweni in South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province yesterday.  The pair is still grounded by a work permit.

Mbombela Utd, who are eying a place in the money-spinning Absa Premiership next season, are celebrating their first win of the campaign. In their opener, they were held to a 1-all draw by University of Pretoria, who are widely known as ‘AmaTuks.’
Meanwhile, left-back Sanele Mkhweli is also in the same boat at his club TS Sporting.

He is yet to feature for the team and has missed the side’s two fixtures. TS Sporting are also fresh from their first win of the season after beating Royal Eagles by 1-0 two days ago. In their first match of the season, they lost 1-3 to Maccabi over a week ago.

Meanwhile, Swazi-born coach Milton Dlamini, who is in charge at Mbombela, could not shed light on the players’ situation when sought for comment on Saturday.
