MBABANE – For now, Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu is a Mbabane Swallows player. Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane has clarified the player’s fate following reports linking the midfielder to local and international suitors.

He made these comments during SBIS Sports Show yesterday morning. Reports have linked ‘D4D’ to Mbombela United in South Africa. The reports emanated after the player was conspicuously missing at the team training session and he even missed the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup tournament. The explanation was that he was attending family matters.

“Njabulo is our player and we value him. He is irreplaceable in his position so we cannot let him go now because we need him in the CAF Champions League. The challenge we are facing now is finding his replacement because we were not able to register Xolani ‘Papi’ Sikhondze,” Zwane said.
He also pointed out that they hoped to register ‘Papi’ when the window opened for the CAF Champions League after the group stages.

“Well it has been tough losing some of our key players to SA teams while in the champions League. It was a huge blow for us. However, we are managing and are looking forward to our last CAF game against Desportivo Agosto,” he said.
Team coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati had welcomed back the player from ‘wilderness’ before last Saturday’s game against Zesco, but had said the player was ready to use the available players.

The capital city side lost the services of Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza and Felix Badenhorst to South Africa’s Mbombela United. Sanele Mkhweli joined TS Sporting while the duo joined United.
Swallows will leave on Sunday for Angola and return home on Wednesday. They will play Agosto on Tuesday at 3pm.If they win and Zesco United lose or draw, they qualify to the quarter-finals of the Total-sponsored continental tournament.
