MBABANE – Speculation since last week has been that Mbabane Highlanders CEO Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini has officially quit.

However, the club has refuted those claims and said at the moment, they had not changed anything in their Management Committee (MC).
“This is an issue that only the club’s directors can make a statement on. Since they haven’t yet said anything, nothing has changed in the MC,” reluctantly responded Mpumelelo Mnisi, who is the team’s Secretary, when questioned about the latest claims circulating on social media networks.A member of the team’s MC had purportedly taken over the position but Mnisi insisted there were no changes as yet, at least none that he knew of.

“The team’s directors will let us know of any changes once there’s anything official,” he insisted.
The directors had announced over a month ago that they would be making changes in their structure following unrests between members and South African coach Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane.
However, to date they have not done so but it is expected they will issue another a statement soon, if Mnisi’s comments are anything to go by.
