MBABANE – After almost four years, the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) will finally have a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The Times Sports Desk has reliably gathered that the CEO will be hired before the end of next month and will earn not less than E25 000 monthly salary.
Current Eswatini Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (EPTC) Corporate Affairs Manager, Nqobile Magagula, was the last to occupy the position at the Premier League of Eswatini.

“The executive committee met last week Tuesday where the issue was raised and it was then decided that the organisation desperately needs a CEO to drive it to the right direction. One of the executive committee members has been tasked to handle the recruitment of the CEO issue,” a source close to the matter said.
Newly-elected PLE Chairman, Peter ‘Touch’ Magagula confirmed on Friday that his organisation will be hiring a new CEO.

“We met last week and resolved that we need someone to run the organisation, hence we will be advertising the posts soon so that we can get the capable individual,” Magagula said.
PLE Executive Committee member, Sicelo Mkhonta has been tasked with overseeing the process of hiring the new CEO.
He confirmed in an interview yesterday.

“Yes, we have already engaged three consultants to help us get the person who will fill the position of CEO. I think an advert will be run in the local media this week and we are hoping to conclude the whole recruitment process early next month,” Mkhonta added.
