SIBOZA MANZINI FA CHAIRMAN

MALKERNS – Johannes ‘Ace’ Siboza is the Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) chairman.


The former EFA executive member proved rather popular among the Manzini teams as he scored 58 votes beating his competitors in former General Secretary Njabulo Mabuza and former MRFA chairman, Samuel Shongwe. The latter got 28 votes while Mabuza accumulated 30 votes.
“Teams have spoken and I won’t let them down. I want to ask for their support and cooperation. I believe I cannot do this alone, we have to be united so that we can develop football in Manzini also want to believe that we can even get more sponsors if we sit and plan properly,” Siboza said.


The elections were held at Prince Pholile Hall in Malkerns during the Annual General Meeting of the MRFA.
The electoral officer was by FA vice-President Comfort Shongwe.
Also helping him were EFA’s technical director Bhekisisa ‘Bizzah’ Mkhonta, Nkosinamandla Mavuso and Muzi Radebe.


The vice-chairman position went to Phumuzo Ntshangase who accumulated 54 votes as compared to the 24 votes which Samuel Shongwe received.
The former vice-secretary, Themba Mavuso was declared the General Secretary after he was unopposed following that Vusi Hall and Njabulo Mabuza decline nomination for this position.
However Vusi Hall later was nominated for the vice-secretary position, he beat Mduduzi Tsabedze by 45 to 20 votes.


Sipho Dlamini retained the treasurer position after beating Simiso Motsa by 67-40 votes in this post.Lusekwane and Senzo Nkambule were also confirmed members after they received 72 and 89 votes respectively.
