SA ANGLER CONQUERS IN MAGUGA CASH CHALLENGE
MAGUGA – Anglers came in numbers for the Maguga Cash Challenge that was held on Saturday at Maguga Dam.
The winner was South African Tristan Franck, who took home the first prize of E2 380 as his fish weighed over two kilogrammes.
The anglers spent about 10 hours doing round fishing around the dam and at the end they were all winners, as they were able to bring big fish that weighed between one and two kilogrammes.
The fish are taken back to the dam after the weight-in.
Derek Hopf, who was the organiser, said all went well and they were happy with the attendance as 41 anglers registered and they came as far as from South Africa.
