MBABANE – Top sides Mbabane Swallows and Matsapha United had no representatives in Thursday’s Premier League of Eswatini Annual General Meeting.

While the other ‘big two’ sides in Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers paraded Zweli Jele and Sandile ‘Chief Dlamini, Swallows had no representation. They were expected to be represented by Llyod ‘Magic Feet’ Maziya.

Matsapha United still have no representation since the incarceration of team boss Sipho Shongwe in January.
Efforts to get comment from the affected teams were fruitless.

PLE COO Pat Vilakati said   his office was blank on why the teams snubbed the big meet.
“As an office, we don’t condone such a move. Going forward we have to come out with fines.

“Even those who walk out of meetings will be in hot water in future,” said Vilakati.
At least 20 out of the 26 were said to be present at the start of the meeting. By the time of the voting exercise, only 17 were present.
