NEW CONDUCIVE TICKETING SYSTEM IN CHARITY CUP

MBABANE – Football fans will now be able to freely move in and out of the Somhlolo National Stadium during the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup without a struggle after the introduction of the new ticketing system.


Before, fans were not allowed to exit the stadium once in and at times they had to struggle trying to secure tickets for coming back in.  Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) COO Pat Vilakati announced yesterday that tickets would be sold at the gates and a fan had to go via a scan when entering the stadium and when moving out.


Introduced


The system was introduced during the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup play-offs played at Mavuso.
 Sports Centre a fortnight ago.
“The scan detects that you ended up coming in or out of the stadium and even if you attempt to cheat, it will indicate. We urge people to be at their best behaviour on the day and also follow the instructions that will be given to them, especially when purchasing the entry tickets,” he said.


It’s E50 a fan to watch the four games on the days, including the two semi-finals, Under-20 finals and the main final.
Vilakati said they will try to have as many entry points as possible to avoid ques.
