‘NKOLA’ JOINS HIGHLANDERS

MBABANE-Mbabane Highlanders will be looking to unleash Nkosinamandla ‘Nkola’ Nkambule on Manzini Wanderers in the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup.
The midfielder, who was with Matsapha United last season, has joined Mbabane Highlanders on a two-year contract.


According to a source close to the matter, the player is in the ‘Bull’s kraal as he has been training with the Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane-led charges.
Also training with the capital city giants is Moneni Pirates’ Sihle Ndaba.
Nkola  joins other former Matsapha United players in Mxolisi Dlamini,Vusimuzi Zungu,Jimoh Moses, Menzie Mamba, Sabelo’Sawa’ Gamedze and Khanyakezwe Shabalala just to mention a few.

When reached for comment, the team’s Chairman of Board of Directors, Zweli Jele confirmed that Nkambule was among Matsapha United players who have joined them.
“We have signed three more Matsapha United players and these are Mxolisi Dlamini, Menzi Mamba and two other youngsters,”Jele said.
Highlanders have been drawn against Manzini Wanderers in the Eswatini Charity Cup.


The game is billed for 9am at Somhlolo Nation Stadium on Sunday.
On the second semi-finals, Mbabane Swallows will have a date with army side, Young Buffaloes, at 11am.
The defending champions are Mbabane Swallows, having beaten Royal Leopard 5-4 in penalties.


In last year’s semi-finals, the Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati-led charges managed to brush aside arch-rivals, Mbabane Highlanders 2-1.
