MBABANE – The PLS Reserve League title was won last Saturday at Trade Fair Ground with a game to spare.

His Majesty’s Correctional Services’ side, Green Mamba lifted its maiden title since the league’s inception five years ago. They beat Tambuti 2-0 to end the three-horse race with second-placed Royal Leopard and third-placed three-time champions, consecutively, Young Buffaloes, who further lost by a solitary goal to rivals Mbabane Swallows.

The champions are up for crowning during this long weekend and they have to set the mood right by winning but their opponents Mbabane Highlanders will be no stroll in the park. It will be a bit of hard work for Green Mamba to brush aside the capital city side.

The match is one of two billed for the grand closing at Manzini Club next Monday. Kick-off is at noon while at 10am it will be Buffaloes and Leopard. The army derby will be a battle for the second spot currently held by Leopard who are a point ahead of Buffaloes on third and four behind the uncrowned champions Green Mamba.

For Buffaloes, a defeat can see them out of the top four if Moneni Pirates and Mbabane Swallows win which makes it all interesting. The full fixtures and log standings are as follows;
