MBABANE – The ‘Yam Nawe’ roadshow is on its way to Nhlangano.

The Yithi Abantu District is set to come to life tomorrow morning when Eswatini Telecom brings its roadshow to Zama Zama Shopping Complex. This after a successful stop in Siteki last weekend, which saw throngs of people attend.

Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) Marketing Manager Nqobile Magagula, confirmed the events yesterday. She invited all people around Nhlangano to make sure they do not miss out as there will be a lot of performances by various groups on the day.
“We will also be giving away our Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup branded merchandise to lucky winners. Those who are into online gaming will also not be left our as the ‘Yam Nawe’ FIFA 2018 tournament will be available through our Wi-Fi network,” she said.
Confirmed groups for this week’s roadshow are Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group, Master P and Dynamic Groovers. Individual dance competitions will also be on offer, including a performance by ball jugglers.

Close to 1 000 people attended last week’s roadshow in Siteki, and given the size of Nhlangano town, the number could rise. The roadshows are meant to market Eswatini Telecom’s Charity work, which is aligned with the Charity Cup.
The preliminary round of this year’s Charity Cup tournament is scheduled for next Sunday.
