CORRECTIONAL TEAMS CROWNED SNVA CHAMPIONS

MBABANE – They were just simply the best.

The Correctional teams won the Swaziland National Volleyball Association (SNVA) knock-out tournament. The female team emerged champions after beating RSP 3-1 while the male team also managed to win with a similar scoreline.
The tournament was played at Mavuso Sports Emporium on Saturday and it was witnessed by over 100 volleyball lovers. It was sponsored by an anonymous sponsor to a tune of E10 000.The champions took home E1500 while runners-up received E1 000 with semi-finalists getting E500.

SNVA Secretary Afi Dlamini thanked the sponsor for the support. “The tournament was very competitive as we watched interesting games between the participating teams. It was hard to predict the winner and all thanks to our anonymous sponsor. We urge other companies to support the sport of volleyball,” Dlamini said.
