JM BUSHA 54 RACES FORKS OUT E10 000 FOR TENNIS TOURNEY

MBABANE – Tennis senior players will battle it out in the courts next Saturday in a one-day tournament sponsored by JM Busha 54 Races, to the tune of E10 000.


The tournament will be played at the University of Swaziland (UNISWA) Kwaluseni tennis courts and it will also be used as qualifiers for the Botswana Open Championships billed mid-July. Presenting the E10 000 cheque to the Swaziland National Tennis Association (SNTA) President Maxwell Jele, was JM Busha’s Sibusiso Khumalo.


SNTA President Maxwell Jele said they were happy to be included in the peace and unity celebrations by JM Busha. He said they were also of the same view that sport is a catalyst for peace and unity.


“Eswatini is known for being a stable country where there is peace, and we are happy that the tennis family will be brought together to enjoy this tournament. This will go a long way in developing the sport in the country,” he said.
Jele said players who will excel in the tournament will stand the chance of going to Botswana for the Open Championships. The country has been attending the championships since 2016.


“We are confident that the players have already started training in preparations of the JM Busha tournament and the Open Championships in Botswana.


JM Busha 54 races said they are happy to be associated with the tennis family. He said they were looking forward to a long-term working relationship with SNTA.
