LOBAMBA – South African super fans made a surprise appearance at yesterday’s Ingwenyama Cup final and gunned for collective support from all local teams to Total CAF Champions League envoys Mbabane Swallows.

Mama Joy and Mgijimi of Orlando Pirates along with Bullie James of Mamelodi Sundowns took time to greet the throngs of supporters who had converged at the Somhlolo National Stadium for the epic final of the Ingwenyama Cup yesterday. “As supporters we need each other and it is a good feeling to be here. Our teams competing in CAF competitions like Sundowns and Mbabane Swallows need the support of everyone, either you are a Highlanders or Wanderers fan,” said Bullie who looked well versed about local football.

“We need to come together for the region and Swazi people must support Swallows and make the King proud,” she added. Mama Joy said they loved being part of the friendship that is developing between the two countries. “We are here in support of all teams and that is the spirit we are encouraging. It does not matter if your team is playing but let us do it for the game,” she said.
