WANDERERS, PIRATES IN FIERCE HUB DERBY

MBABANE – It has not been the perfect start for Manzini Wanderers in the New Year.

A defeat to Vovovo and a goalless draw against log leaders Mbabane Swallows means the maroon and white giants will have to get back to winning ways soon, if they are to fulfill coach Nyanga ‘Crooks’ Hlophe’s target of finishing within the top four brackets. 

It does not get any easier, especially against cross town rivals Moneni Pirates, who are coming from a big win against league title hopefuls Young Buffaloes.

Taking to account Pirates performance against Buffaloes, despite being left depleted by the January transfer window, following the exit of Fanelo ‘Order’ Mamba among others, they are slowly mastering coach Ernest Mavuso tactics and a thriller will surely be on show.
