MBABANE – Hub giants Manzini Wanderers are not nervous to face unstoppable Mbabane Swallows in tonight’s mouth-watering clash in the MTN Premier League.

The ‘Weaslians’ fresh from  a back to back defeat to Mbabane Swallows in the Ingwenyama Cup  quarter-finals and Vovovo in the MTN Premier League boosts of confidence ahead of the clash scheduled for Somhlolo National Stadium, kick-off is at 8:30pm.
Wanderers who were beaten 0-1 in the first round of the league are yet to win a match in the current year. Captain Lwazi ‘Shana’ Maziya said every game was crucial.

“We have put the weekend results where it belongs, in the past. We have shifted our focus to this game against Swallows. Looking in the past cannot help us in anyways. We are going all out for the three points at stake,” he said.

Maziya said the team was competing in the league and they would strive to come out the best in the game and end of the season.
“Our fans always come to support us and we want to repay them with a win and keep the game exciting. We will play our normal game and make sure we don’t give them a room to score. Our fans must come in their numbers to continue cheering behind us,” he said.

Shana said the Sunday incident where a majority of Wanderers supporters blew their vuvuselas and shouted unprintable words during the one moment of silence for the late PLS and Mbabane Swallows Chairman Victor Gamedze was unfortunate.

“I believe it was a mistake and oversight from the fans. I believe we can build a bright future and come together as per the spirit of the game of football.

“We are no enemies with Mbabane Swallows but friends, expect in the field of play as we all want to win,’ he said.
