The attractive Cape Town city will play host to the second leg of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup around February 16 in the preliminary stages. Buffaloes will have hosted the legendary Benni McCarthy-coached side a week earlier at Somhlolo National Stadium.

“It’s all been settled in as far as the trip to Cape Town is concerned for our fans. We expect each one travelling with us to part with E1 250 but we encourage a deposit payment of E700 and then the full amount by January 31,” the army club’s CEO Sandile Gwebu confirmed yesterday.

He said even those who were not Buffaloes supporters were welcome on the trip as Cape Town was also a renowned tourist destination worldwide.
“We also need as much support as we can get from the nation so we are open to all Swazis to come join us. We’re open to those who may want to join us in flying to Cape Town as the team will take a flight from Johannesburg,” he explained.

The flight budget currently stands at E2 500 return even though flight tickets vary in prices depending on the time of purchase and departure dates but this amount will guarantee one a ticket. Gwebu said those who can afford flying must prepare means to get to the airport in Johannesburg from Swaziland.

However, he said depending on the numbers to pay for flying, they could provide transport to South Africa for those but all will be determined by the response.
