MBABANE – A hefty E230 000 awaits the winner between National First Division League sides Mbabane Citizen and Milling Hot Spurs on Saturday.

The two teams have all the reasons to buckle up as they do battle in the quarter-finals of the Ingwenyama Cup as qualification to the semi-finals has a sweetener of E200 000 plus an extra E30 000 for being the best finisher from the First Division League.
The game is billed for Somhlolo National Stadium on Saturday; kick-off 1:30pm.

This is the biggest prize money to be pocketed by a First Division League side and it is higher than the E120 000 first prize money for winning the MTN National First Division League. MTN National First Division league first round winners receive E60 000.
According to the Ingwenyama Cup prize breakdown, the losing quarter-finalists will still pocket E75 000.

In the SwaziBank Cup, the National First Division best finishers pockets E10 000 and semi-finalists get E100 000.
Citizen’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Sifiso Hlatjwako said despite that they have to part ways with their coach Herbert Maruwa, they will be ready for the clash on Saturday.

He said their Zimbabwean coach, Ikabort Masocha, will arrive in the country and start working with the team as soon as possible.
“Masocha knows the team very well because he was part of us at the start of the season. He knows all the players and he had to go back home after three games due to family issues. He will be back now and continue the work he started with the club,” he said.

Hlatjwako said they were much aware of the incentive they stand to win if they reach the semi-finals. He said they were now taking each game as it comes.
