MBABANE – Midas City’s relentless search for what they call ‘football justice’ in their protracted 14-team league battle with the Premier League of Swaziland will cost them an arm and a leg.

It could cost over E100 000.
The club has just received a correspondence from the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) on the matter, which did little to satisfy them.

Instead, the club Secretary, Bongani ‘Bhanyaza’ Mdluli, has insisted that the club would not abandon their quest to seek justice in the decision taken to increase the number of teams from 12 to 14 this season. Midas City are questioning the legality of the move taken by a Premier League of Swaziland PLS Board of Governors Special Meeting in May this year, and further endorsed by the NFAS Executive committee, without it being taken to the FA General Assembly.

Mdluli said writing to the FA was nothing but following football laid-down structures. “We have received the response from FA, but we are headed for the global football higher bodies. If it means going to FIFA, we will go because all we want is football justice,” he said.
