MBABANE – Charity was the winner during the Njomane Golf Day at Mbabane Golf Club as E30 500 was raised.

This was confirmed by the tournament founder and Mbabane City Council CEO Gideon Mhlongo yesterday during the prize presentation of the ninth edition of the annual tournament.

“I am proud to say golfers and companies have come to the party to support charity as E30 500 was raised from this tournament.
‘‘The Njomane Charity Golf main sponsors were Invaders Construction, AG Thomas, Simuzu, ED Simelane, Clinic Auto, Pasco Environmental, AM Tree Cutting, Grith Investment, and Lomhlangano Investment. All the proceeds will be donated to families which we will indentify in the next two weeks,” Mhlongo said.

Other companies that contributed towards refreshments were Mountain Inn, Cafe 360, City Court, Fedics, and Mhlongo family. Mhlongo further thanked all the sponsors and golfers who contributed towards the success of the tournament.

“I want to congratulate the winner, Ncamiso Matse and all golfers who participated in this tournament. We saw 43 golfers coming together for this good cause and we would like to thank all the golfers who braved the cold weather in order to make someone else’s life better,” he said.

He further thanked his Personal Assistant Maggie Phungwayo and Internal Auditor Nothando Dlamini who sacrificed their time to help organise the annual tournament. Meanwhile, Ronnie Mkhombe, who is a member of the Mbabane Gold Club, thanked Mhlongo for his continued support toward charity. “We are grateful for Mhlongo’s support.
