BEL AIR CRUISE PAST BLACK BALL MASTERS
MBABANE – Bel Air are on course to winning the league after recording their 19th consecutive win.
This time Black Ball Masters were their victim as they beat them by 14-11 to maintain the top spot of the E40 000-sponsored Mbabane Express Car Wash Pool League. After the 19th straight win, they extended their lead to seven points clear ahead of second-placed Mbabane Pool Club. They are currently at 69 points. Mbabane Pool Club also recorded their 16th win, 21-4 at the expense of Sjabula More, while fourth-placed Singarpore hammered The Garage 21-4. Insumansumane’s title hopes were derailed following losing to 9-6 to Mini-Bar. In the singles results, Jairus Mhlanga after 21 games, has finally leapfroged Elvis Van Aardt at a the top spot after recording back to back wins against Sandile Mkhontfo and Sicelo Mdzebele, while Elvis also beat Mncedisi Mweli 5-3. Noteworthy is that Elvis has three games in hand as compared to table topper Jairus.
