MANZINI – A cold and rainy night did not deter thousands of spectators from cascading to Mavuso Sports Centre for the Matsapha United and Mbabane Highlanders clash.

The two sides fired blanks in Wednesday’s exciting MTN Premier League clash. There was a curtain-raiser between Manzini Sundowns and Manzini Wanderers, which ended in 1-0 in favour of the former.
Figures released after the game revealed that E103 000 was collected at the gates.

Sundowns and Matsapha were hosts on the day and took home E29 000 each, after deductions.
The entry fee was E40. In essence, 2 575 spectators paid to watch the epic clash.

This was one of the biggest attendances in a night game at Mavuso sports Centre.
The first round showdown between Matsapha and Mbabane Swallows also attracted a big contingent of about 3 000 spectators.
