LOBAMBA – Whatever hub giants Manzini Wanderers are paying Nigerian striker Kola Aladeon they should double it after he forcefully rescued a point here last night with a minute before full time.

The ‘Weslians’ looked headed for their third loss of the season just four days after last Saturday’s 1-0 defeat by Mbabane Swallows, but Kola pounced like a thief in the still of the night, taking advantage of a defensive mix up at Buffaloes which saw defender Samkelo Lushaba colliding with teammate Dumsani Mdluli allowing the maverick Nigerian striker to pick the loose ball and fire a blockbuster shot into the net sending the motley group of Wanderers fans into derelium.

Buffaloes finished the game with nine men as they had utilised all their substitutions before defender Samkeliso Lushaba suffered an arm fracture after colliding with teammate Dumsani Mdluli who had been muscled out by Kola an infringement that escaped the eye of referee Thembinkosi Dlamini.  Buffaloes have only themselves to blame after throwing what looked like a comfortable 2-0 lead early in the second half.

After a balanced first half in which chances were few and far in between for both sides, Buffaloes defender Bongani Mhlanga gave the army side the lead in the 48th minute when he toe-poked the ball home from three yards following Wanderers defenders Brian Vilane and Sihle Mkhonta’s poor communication in dealing with a crisp Sanele Ngcamphalala cross.

Five minutes later Buffaloes striker Ndoda Mthethwa haunted his former club with a classy finish after a long lacerating Samkelo Lushaba pass.
