MBABANE – Form is temporary but class is permanent. Ahead of this Saturday’s gruelling MTN Premier League fixture between sworn rivals in giants Manzini Wanderers and Mbabane Swallows, the former’s captain and midfielder Lwazi ‘Shana’ Maziya could not have described their opponents any better.

“Swallows are full of experience all over the pitch. For them it’s not about hitting form or not but they just know what to do to win matches. That said, the spirit is high in our team and we’ll go out there for positive results,” he said.
Maziya, who scored a brace against Malanti Chiefs before being subbed due to injury at the start of the second half last weekend, said after the 4-1 win, consistency was essential which is why they must win on Saturday afternoon.

“We will do our very best to win the match, especially with the spirit so good so far. I hope we can get the maximum points. This is football. I haven’t watched Swallows yet and it doesn’t matter what everybody says,” he said.
He said they respected Swallows as a team but inside the field of play, it’s a different story. On his groin injury, he said it was always a tricky situation but he was feeling better and hopeful to resume light training today.

Swallows visit Wanderers at Mavuso Sports Centre with the kick off set for 3:30pm but will be preceded by Moneni Pirates against Young Buffaloes at 1.30pm. Both Swallows and Wanderers won their previous games with the former edging Tambuti 3-2.
