NTONDOZI – If it was not for football, then Ntondozi would not have witnessed the building of a proper soup kitchen any time soon.

While Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) takes the credit for its charity initiative which is now 16 years old, the company’s Marketing and Communications Manager Nqobi Magagula recognised former Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows stars Msizi ‘Figa’ Lukhele and Manqoba Zwane, respectively.
“The two are the reason we’re here today to build this soup kitchen which is currently in phase one and when we return next year, we’ll complete it and hand it back to the community. They played a vital role in ensuring Ntondozi benefitted which just shows the impact football has through this initiative,” she said.
She also recognised their partners Lihle LemaSwati Foundation, formerly Prince Lindani Foundation and SXE Charity Organisation for their roles as well in the initiative to help the needy.
