MBABANE – Any team that wants Nigerian hitman Kola Aladeon permanently will have to part with a princely E300 000 - and the figure could rise for the new season.

This is contained in a clause that was included in his contract with Manzini Wanderers, which has expired, where he was on loan. He is currently not attached to any team, though elite league ‘new boys’ Matsapha United are in pole position to land the striker.

An informed source told this newspaper that his manager, former Black Swallows Chairman Charles Matsebula, is currently weighing offers from different local teams and in South Africa.

Kola appeared for Matsapha in Sunday’s Transversal Cup in Mbombela, South Africa after his contract with Wanderers expired at the end of March.
Matsebula confided that Wanderers were given first option on the player and that the situation now was that he was available to any team at the perfect offer.

“Wanderers had indicated an interest to renew his loan deal but he is now in the market. The main focus is getting him a deal in South Africa but for local teams; it will have to be a club that will not only improve his football, but offer outside advantages. It is not all about the money but the future of the player and our job is looking after the interests of the player,” Matsebula said.

Kola was among three foreign stars Matsapha coach Saul Chaminuka had a glance at in Mbombela along with another out-of-contract Solomon Oladele who appeared for Red Lions in the past season and centre back Afraine Bismark.
