LOBAMBA – Sitsebe will test their resolve against Lesotho ahead of the COSAFA Women’s Football this weekend.

The women football national team will leave for Lesotho tomorrow for the friendly game against the Basotho women national team billed for Saturday and Sunday.
Sitsebe Semhlekazi have been training for the past two weeks in preparation for the COSAFA Women’s Football tournament billed for September 13 to 24 in Zimbabwe.
Speaking after yesterday’s training the head coach Mduduzi Nxumalo said preparations had been going well so far.

“We have all the players except for the few that are held up due to work commitments. We have been training for the past two week. I believe I have the best squad and these international friendly games will help us to gauge whether or not we are ready for the COSAFA Games,” Nxumalo said.
The coach further said they would not be going to the games to add numbers but to compete.
“We have three or four friendly games lined-up for us ahead of the COSAFA games, so we believe those friendly games should aide our performances in the tournament. This weekend we will play Lesotho and we also have proposed to play Mozambique and Botswana in the next few weeks,” he added.
