ULUNDI – Mbabane Swallows quicksilver striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa’s exploits in the CAF Confederation Cup have won him many admirers.

AmaZulu General Manger Lunga Sokhela, put it crystal clear, in an interview with the Times Sports Desk yesterday, that the country’s goal king is a good player they would like to sign ahead of their imminent Premier Soccer League (PSL) return, following their purchase of Thanda Royal Zulu for a rumoured E60 million.

Thanda won promotion to the South African PSL from the National First Division and Amazulu were quick to dangle cash to buy their status.
Sokhela also admitted that his side has been closely monitoring ‘Sikhali’s teammate at Swallows, Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu for over a year now.

“We are still very much interested in Ndlovu and we watched with keen interest as Ndzinisa crushed Platinum Stars recently. Ndzinisa is a player we would also like to have. We are building a relationship with Swallows that will enable both sides to exchange players and information as part of the partnership,” Sokhela said.
Sokhela was speaking during the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup launch at Queen Silomo Centre in Ulundi, Zululand yesterday, where the Mbabane giants will participate in a one day tournament slated for Sunday July 30 against AmaZulu, Bloemfontein Celtics and the Zululand District Municipality XI.
Sokhela revealed that his side will sign not less than five key players in readiness for their imminent PSL return, which he highlighted should be confirmed by PSL by next Wednesday. His Swallows counterpart Sandile Zwane, said ‘Sikhali’ has attracted massive interest from teams across the continent but said he could not divulge who has enquired about his services at this point.
The Sihlangu striker netted 19 goals in the MTN League in the past 2016/17 season.
