SINGAPORE POOL TEAM TOPS EXPRESS CAR WASH LEAGUE

MBABANE – Singapore One were on cloud nine in the opening of the Mbabane Express Car Wash pool league yesterday.

They are at the summit of the log after the first round of the E40 000-sponsored league. Singapore were the biggest winners as they cruised to a 21-4 victory over newcomers Express Car Wash Two. The games were played at the pool room situated in the car wash in Mbabane. In another exciting match, Mbabane Pool Club beat Express Car Wash one 17-18. Despite losing the match, Express Car Wash’s Sifiso Makhanya and Muzi Hlophe were at their best game as they won all the five frames.

The league resumes after a long lay-off and it is sponsored by Express Car Wash. The biggest chunk will go into the open league, which is E15 000 while it will be followed by three tournaments all receiving E10 000. These are Singles league, Team knockouts and Singles knockouts.
The women’s league total package is at E2 000 while the Under-17 league stands at E3 000.
