MANZINI – In reaction to an emotional statement by the club’s Council of Elders’ Chairman Sipho Ntshalintshali that some people were out for his blood, the club’s elder Advocate Percy Mngomezulu calmed down the old man.

Ntshalintshali in his remarks mentioned the PLS’ patrons and elders’ ban claiming it was also a plot to get him out when he never asked for anything at Wanderers but was fetched from home to come and assist.

It is an open secret that Ntshalintshali is against the ban on these unrecognised structures in football despite that it is well in line with FIFA and CAF standards through the Club Licensing requirements. However, his outburst was later addressed by the club’s meeting chairman Mngometulu.

“The patrons or elders’ ban is nothing you need to worry about. For now, the PLS has no written law to ban elders,” he said.
He encouraged Ntshalintshali not to stress but relax in as far as the elders’ position was concerned in the maroon and white outfit. Mngometulu also appealed to the club’s supporters and those in leadership positions in the various structures not fight again.
“Wanderers as of today (Saturday) cannot ever fight again. I don’t want to see that we’re fighting instead we have to all work together and assist in growing this club,” he said.

He said the Task Team and the outgoing directors following Saturday’s meeting decision to de-register the club as a company, effectively also taking power from its leaders, must not be in conflict ever again after this meeting which was held at the Manzini Library.
Supporters of the club voted to de-registering the team as a company and register it as an association.
