MBABANE – Uncrowned champions before the Malkerns derby fixture last Saturday with rivals Macembe, Way Inn were awarded a 25-0 win and four points after the former failed to show up for the match.

Perhaps the fact that Way Inn long won the championship with four games before they ended their season, may have played a role in the rivals not attending.

The champions were not the only team to get a free win and points without cuing a ball. Bhunya One also got the four points and 25-0 scoreline against the no-show Macembe with Mankayane Eagles also collecting same from Stairs. It was a close one between Bhunya and Suns of kings as the match ended with narrow 13-12 win to the former.

“I’m still to get reports from the league secretary but I understand Macembe and Stairs did not make to their fixtures so there were free points to collect for clubs,” Manzini Regional Pool Association (MRPA) Western Zone Interim Chairman Muntu Dlamini said.

etary was yet to report back then he would have the answers. Some of the teams have a game more to play but will not change the championship. Below are the weekend results and log standings;
