‘SPUTLA’ NOT SURE OF SUNDOWNS FUTURE

MANZINI – With his contract up, Coach Mlamuli ‘Sputla’ Zwane is not sure of his Manzini Sundowns future.

Brought in halfway through the first round to steady the ‘Kappa Kappa’ ship, Zwane has secured Sundowns a top eight spot with 33 points, the same number of points with third and fourth-placed Manzini Wanderers and Royal Leopard though with an inferior goal difference.
However, Wanderers and Leopard are yet to play their last game of the season in the unceremoniously postponed batch of matches.

“I’m not sure of the future here though I’m yet to meet management and review our performance. We did well in the second round, losing just one match,” Zwane said in a post match interview after watching his side play to a goalless draw against Midas City at the Mavuso Sports Centre.

Zwane praised the commitment from his charges all season long and lauded City’s defensive unit in this particular game.
“They are a team that defends with more numbers, hence we struggled to penetrate them in the first half,” he added.
