THREE REFEREES FOR CAF CONFED CUP
MBABANE – The Confederations of Africa Football (CAF) continues to recognise local referee as three of them have been appointed to officiate in a Total Confederations Cup match.
The trio is; Mbongiseni Fakudze (Referee), Sifiso Nxumalo (2nd Assistant) and Gcina Mamba (1st Assistant). They will be in charge of the second leg match between ABSA Premiership side Platinum Stars against Angola’s Vipers Sports Club on Saturday, March 18 at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg, South Africa.
The match will be played under floodlights at 8pm.
Their appointment comes after Thulani Sibandze and Petros Mbingo were appointed to be in charge of a CAF Champions League game in Mozambique a fortnight ago.
