NOBUHLE TOUR EARNINGS NEAR E50 000 MARK
MBABANE – Hard-hitting golfer Nobuhle Dlamini will a get a chance to shoot up her Ladies Sunshine Tour earnings to E50 000 in tomorrow’s Dimension Data Challenge.
The Lobamba-born golfer will be among big guns from across the globe set to take to South Africa’s Par-72 George Golf Club in pursuit for gold in the E350 000-sponsored tournament.
With winnings of E48 110.83 in the five Tour events staged so far, the 25-year-old will be provided with another opportunity to get a bigger chunk from the purse during the prestigious event, which will run until Sunday.
Dlamini is currently eighth on the Order of Merit standings. She has to maintain the top 10 to make the cut in the team to feature in main Tour tournament styled Chase to the Investec Cup next month. The former South Africa’s number one female amateur golfer’s best showing so far in the series was during the Ladies Tshwane Open. She ranked fifth, pocketing E17 540.
Other past events include last week’s Cape Town Ladies Open, South Africa’s Women Open, Masters and Johannesburg Open.
