MBABANE – “Nkomishi, I am coming for you!” Young Buffaloes prolific striker Ndoda Mthethwa has warned his best friend and former Manzini Wanderers teammate Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza, who will be in goals for Mbabane Swallows on Sunday.

The striker said they were aware of the task at hand as they prepare to wrestle a team that has beaten everyone this season. Young Buffaloes have lost both MTN League games against the high-flying capital city giants who are already chasing an unprecedented double-quadruple of trophies.
“We are taking this one and we are ready for them. My friend ‘Nkomishi’ knows that I am coming for him this time. He owes me and I will definitely score, no matter what,” he said.

He said Swallows had experienced players who could handle any situation, but his Buffaloes team would not allow itself to lose, especially in the presence of His Majesty King Mswati III if he attends.
“We respect Swallows, but we have done everything to motivate ourselves for the game. The nation should come in numbers because of the entertainment galore,” he said.

He said they are unfazed by having lost two previous cup finals against Swallows between 2007 and 2013.
Mbabane Swallows skipper Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze said his teammates were always motivated to play in a cup final.

“To us it is about the team. We play for the badge than for the financial gain, which normally comes later. Every match is given the respect and seriousness it deserves in our team and this one is no exception. But we have to win this one and I have to score, really,” he said.

The players attended yesterday’s kit presentation event held at SMVA Headquarters in Mbabane. The final is set for Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
