Sea Birds vs Swallows at Somhlolo National
Stadium (3:30pm)

MBABANE - History books will be rewritten if merciless Mbabane Swallows beat Manzini Sea Birds to claim the league title with six games to spare.

At the time of compiling this report, the capital city giants’ closest challengers, Young Buffaloes, were due to face Tambuti.  The latter’s win was going to hand the red and white outfit the championship without kicking a ball.
Before the weekend’s action, Buffaloes could only go as far as 48 points, which will be Swallows’ tally this afternoon if they beat Sea Birds.

Following a remarkable season so far, winning all their 15 league matches; Swallows look beyond the basement-based side.  However, Sea Birds, who last beat Swallows 1 177 days ago, are known for standing their ground in games against Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati’s charges.

They lost the reverse fixture by a solitary goal. Time will tell if the host can successfully carry water in a sieve. The record-breaking outfit also do need to be motivated as they have just stormed into the world charts.
