WE’LL BE HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Greetings Mkhonto KaShaka, greetings, Nqolebovu Kamasizila, sanibonani Swai Swai, hello to you all beautiful Birds.
It is another lovely Friday, which the Lord has made and we, the Mbabane Swallows family, will rejoice and be glad in it.

Tomorrow, Mkhonto KaShaka, this great team will be up against giant slayers National First Division League outfit Vovovo FC. This will be during our Ingwenyama Cup quarter-finals’ meeting, which is slated for the Mayaluka Stadium in Big Bend.

I need not impress on you Nqolebovu how crucial your attendance is. We need you to attend this game in your great numbers. Let us turn the Mayaluka Stadium into one big sea of red/blue and white. As the most supported side in the land, our players need to feel like they are playing at home even though they will be far away from home.

We are counting on you Swai Swai to create a hostile and intimidating atmosphere for our opponents, as we look to defend this tournament.
We need to prove to all and sundry that winning this tournament last year was not a fluke. In fact, here at Mbabane Swallows, we want to win every game we play. That is why as our supporters you need to support us at all costs. You need to play your part and our players will do likewise. I can assure you that you will not return home empty-handed.

Many are of the notion that we struggle to play outside the Somhlolo National Stadium. We will, however, prove people wrong because our supporters will make playing at Mayaluka feel like home for our stars.

So much respect for Vovovo

Having said that Swai Swai, I must hasten to add that we have a great deal of respect for our opponents Vovovo FC.
They have not reached this stage of the completion by fluke. The fact that they eliminated a Premier League team on their way to the quarter-finals means that they are one dangerous side. They cannot be taken lightly.
