DPM COMMENDS TEAMS, SPONSOR

LOBAMBA – Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Paul Dlamini has lauded SwaziBank for staying on board in local football.


The deputy premier, who was among the guests who watched the SwaziBank Cup grand opening at Somhlolo National Stadium yesterday, noted that the bank had made notable strides in developing the nation.
“We’re happy that the bank goes beyond providing financial services by investing in footbaall.”


The DPM was impressed with yesterday’s festivities, congratulating the winning teams in Mbabane Highlanders, Moneni Pirates and Manzini Wanderers.
He urged the losing regional teams, namely; City Warriors, Hlatikhulu Tycoons and Sisonkhe not to despair.


Other guests included Cabinet Ministers; David Ngcamphalala from the Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Ministry and his counterpart from Agriculture, Moses Vilakati.
 Ngcamphalala, on the other hand, felt the first prize money which increased by E200 000 to shoot up to E1 million, was inspirational to the players, thanking the sponsor and everyone who supported yesterday’s event.
