OSWIN OPEN TO ANY TEAM’S DIRECTORSHIP – VICTOR

MATSAPHA – New PLS sponsors Esibayeni Lodge’s Boss Desmond Oswin is ready to become a director of any organised elite side, PLS Chairman Victor ‘Maradona’ Gamedze revealed yesterday.

Gamedze, when making his remarks at the Under-17 League sponsorship launch, in which the lodge pumped E150 000 and named the league Esibayeni Lodge Under-17 League, said people like Oswin were needed in football. “He is not new to football as he had been an administrator while some of us were still players and then the game was exciting but lacked sponsors like him. Nowadays the sponsors are coming but it is still leaders like you who have so much to contribute and I’m happy to announce to the clubs that you are ready to return as a club MD,” he said. He said such a club must be organised and without any controversies and if any felt they needed his contribution, they were all free to approach Oswin and discuss the matter personally with him. He said Oswin had served the PLS, Moneni Pirates and the Football Association and was now back through development.
