MBABANE – The Swaziland Dance Sport Association (SWADANSA) executive has been left jaw-dropped by scintillating performances given by dancers last Saturday.

This was during the Winter Dance Challenge which was hosted at St. Theresa’s High School hall.
SWADANSA President Mhleli Dlamini testified to having witnessed high-level dancing on the day that was truly amazing.  “This competition was very big. More than anything, it was a revelation as we saw wonderful and thrilling exhibitions of skill on the floor.

Some of the couples were just amazing to watch as they produced top-shelf dancing and we were very impressed with the standard of dancing we saw.

The standards are high and we can see that they will only be going higher. Things will also be heating up at the top levels because some dancers who are graduating to higher levels are really good and show great dedication.”

The competition featured junior level and senior level dance couples from over six clubs.
Dance styles exhibited were in both the Standard Ballroom and Latin American section included paso doble, waltz, foxtrot, chacha, jive, samba, rumba and tango.
