EZULWINI – National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) President Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa yesterday hinted for the first time he could stay on as the football mother body’s president after the next elections in 2017.

Mthethwa, addressing delegates during the association’s Ordinary General Assembly held at the Sibane Hotel, yesterday jokingly said all the delegates would be well dressed during the 2017 General Assembly, which coincides with the presidential elections.

A number of the delegates, including referees and the Shiselweni Regional Football Association (SRFA), had raised concerns on the fact that they did not have suits.

Responding to their concerns, Mthethwa said the executive committee would consider the requests but provoked laughter in the gathering when he said he would ensure they were well dressed during the 2017 elections.

Yesterday’s Ordinary Assembly started just before 10:30am and was over at 2pm, as the veteran and shrewd administrator directed proceedings.
Mthethwa encouraged the delegates to copy his style of chairing meetings.
