MBABANE – It is now history that Sihlangu has bowed out of the ongoing regional COSAFA Cup after a crippling 1-1 draw against Madagascar in the deciding game of Group B, which was played on Friday evening at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace.

A combination of factors, mainly bordering on ill luck, ensured Sihlangu’s dream of qualifying for the tournament’s quarter-finals against Ghana, remained just that – a dream.

The squad had done reasonably well to ensure qualification but fell a goal short.
Many will look back at the disallowed goal by instrumental skipper Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze as the main reason for the failure. However, there was actually more to it.
Here is what was seen from the squad’s campaign since Monday on the day in which they faced Tanzania.
